Hey everyone, I recently came across this link: https://sixoversixwindows.co.uk/sash-window-double-glazing/ while looking for ways to improve the insulation in my home. I live in an older property with traditional sash windows, and while I love the aesthetics, they’re terrible at keeping the heat in during winter. Has anyone here had experience with double glazing for sash windows? Is it worth the investment, and does it actually maintain the original look of the windows? I don’t want to lose that classic charm, but I really need to cut down on drafts and heating costs. Any recommendations or insights would be super helpful!

Absolutely, I’ve dealt with this before! Upgrading sash windows with double glazing is definitely a smart move, especially if you’re struggling with insulation and energy bills. The good news is that modern double glazing solutions, like the ones offered by sixoversixwindows, are specifically designed to retain the original look while significantly improving efficiency. They use slim-profile double glazing, which fits within traditional sash frames, so you won’t have to compromise on aesthetics.
