I get what you're saying, but I made the switch to a minimalist wallet about a year ago and haven't looked back https://www.walletking.co.uk/men-s-wallets.html . It forces you to carry only what’s necessary. You don’t need a ton of cards—most payments are digital now. Plus, it feels liberating not having to lug around a bulky wallet full of things you hardly use. It might feel odd at first, but once you adjust, you’ll realize you don’t need as much space as you think. Your essentials—ID, a couple of cards, and maybe some cash—can easily fit into a slimmer design without losing convenience. It’s also easier on your back and pockets.

Thanks for your input! It’s good to hear a real-life experience. I was mostly worried about the practicality, but it sounds like it’s more about adapting to carrying less. I think I might give it a try.
